What is Whole-Body Cryotherapy?
Whole-Body Cryotherapy is a chamber that reaches subzero temperatures as low as -200 to -240F degrees for 2 to 3 minute treatments with nitrogen gas lowering the skin's surface temperature by 30-50 degrees. The ice cold effect stimulates receptors constricting blood vessels while activating overall blood flow towards the core of the body to protect the internal organs in attempt to warm the body up.
