Prescribe exercise as medicine and customized programs to treat special populations or prevent chronic diseases, disabilities and injuries. Look to promote and educate clients scientifically on the importance of general health and wellness, recovery of chronic diseases, improve cardiovascular function, flexibility, weight management, rehabilitation, nutrition and sports performance.

Exercise Physiologist/ CEO
Devon Williams gained his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University and is a former running back of their football team. He is a graduate student at Concordia University of Chicago where he will soon gain his Masters in Exercise Science with a concentration of Exercise Physiology preparing him to become a Doctor of Clinical Exercise Physiology and certified diabetic educator.
Devon Williams is the CEO and Owner of Run It Up: Sports Science Lab. Mr. Williams focuses heavily on providing a professional service with a life changing experience from a medical & health point of view. He looks to enlighten his targeted audience on how important healthcare professionals are looked upon in terms of rehabilitation and performance under the medical umbrella.
Therefore, his plan is to lead the way to treat many cases of populations with special needs. After, being diagnosed with diabetes in 2024 with an A1C of 14.3 and reversing it in 4 months encouraged his journey further to assist and educate special populations with passion for change.
His ability to lead will make a great impact in the healthcare community as it has in many years before such as: The 1st ever in school history to win the Martin Luther King Jr. Transformational leadership award , Organization of the Year award, Distinguished Service Award and gaining his mentorship certification. Mr. Williams has led organizations/ teams and mentoring individuals on successful ventures. He also had a long journey from overcoming pulmonary lung diseases such as asthma and chronic bronchitis growing up to having three knee surgeries tearing two ACL's and one lateral meniscus. Becoming top two in both lower and upper body strength on his football team in college shows his determination and work ethic. Those experiences inspired him to become an expert with lower back pain, cardiac/pulmonary rehab, knee injuries/surgeries, rehabilitation and neurophysiology putting him in a better position psychologically to guide and change lives of many people.
Mr. Williams spent unquestionable amount of hours, days, months and years studying his craft gaining much experience from numerous of resources to better provide patients with scientific evidence of how exercise is a form of medicine once prescribed correctly. Mr. Williams has interned at a cross-fit facility and Athletico physical therapy clinic where he observed many professionals approach exercise and prescribe programs to over 300+ clients and patients to accomplish goals of rehab, health and wellness in a multitude of ways. He worked as a physical therapy aide for a hospital and outpatient clinic where he assisted Physical Therapists with progressing workout programs for clients experiencing injuries and needing rehab to return back to sports and/or daily life activities. His experience working as a sports performance trainer allowed him to enhance skills and high peaked performance levels of different aged athletes from 5th graders up to the professional level in different sports. His knowledge and creativity with exercise science has equipped many athletes with the abilities to reach platforms, achievements, results and goals at a high level. His scientific background allows him to prescribe training programs, analyze data, give technical analysis and provide the proper physiological protocols for all special populations, healthy and athletes of all ages.
